I’m Eike, a professional tattoo artist for over a decade, progressing from a small room in my home to owning studios in Germany and now in the USA. My artistic repertoire includes everything from freehand drawing directly on our clients’ skin to Fineline, Peppershading, detailed portraits, and cover-ups. Together with Sophia, I aim to create unique, tailored designs for each client that are memorable.
Sophia
I, Sophia, discovered the art of tattooing four years ago and have since worked closely with my husband Eike. My specialties are Fineline, Peppershading, and particularly the Sketch-Style, which I have perfected. My goal is for every client to leave our studio not just with a new tattoo but also with a smile. My perfectionist approach ensures that every design meets the highest hygiene standards and is executed with genuine passion and precision.
The Story of Our
Mobile Tattoo Studio
Our mobile tattoo studio, Carolina Icon Ink, began with a simple yet powerful idea: to bring tattoo art wherever demand takes us. This vision became a reality with our 1999 Ford Fleetwood Pace Arrow, which we completely gutted and transformed into a fully functional mobile tattoo studio. This effort allows us to flexibly respond to various locations, whether it’s festivals, private events, or other cultural happenings. You can even check out photos of the renovation process on Facebook! When we’re not on the road or at festivals, you can find us at our fixed location in York, SC. Our goal is to be present wherever our clients need us and to become a part of their unique stories by providing them with high-quality tattoos in a comfortable and professional setting.
